The Research Assistant is a tool that integrates with the latest nutrition research sources to give you instant access to current dietary guidelines and studies. To use the Research Assistant, send a message directly to the tool and receive answers based on the latest available research.
Where is the Research Assistant located?
The Research Assistant is embedded directly in your Fay chat and appears at the top of your conversation list for easy access while messaging with patients.
Meal Planner
How do I use the meal planning tool?
To generate a meal plan in Fay:
Select the patient you want to create a meal plan for
Enter the details you would like taken into consideration, such as allergies, CKD, or weight loss goals
Select Generate meal plan
Review and edit the meal plan as needed before sending it to your patient directly from Fay
Important: The meal planning tool is currently in testing. Meal plans generated by this tool always require review and clinical judgment from a dietitian before being shared with patients and are not a substitute for your expertise.
Where can I find Fay’s meal planning tool?
The meal planning tool is accessible by selecting Meal Planner from your sidebar menu in Fay.
Client Handouts
Where can I find Fay’s client education handouts and materials?
Fay's Client Education Resource Library is accessible by selecting Client Handouts from your sidebar menu in Fay. The library contains handouts and educational materials that can be shared directly with patients. You are also welcome to use your own handouts if you prefer.
Fay Community
What is the Fay Community?
The Fay Community is a space for dietitians in private practice to connect with peers, share best practices, ask questions, and access helpful resources and content. The Fay Community is accessible by selecting Community from your sidebar menu in Fay.
Why can't I log into Fay Community?
To log into Fay Community, you should follow these steps:
Go to the Fay Community login link
Click “Continue with Fay”
Log in using the same credentials used to log into Fay
Note: If you are still having trouble logging into the Fay Community, contact the provider support chatbot located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
Do you offer free CPE credits?
Yes, Fay offers live events in the Fay Community that are pre-approved by the CDR and eligible for CPE credit.
