Profile conversion rate

Understand how your profile conversion rate is calculated and why it matters for growing your practice.

What is profile conversion rate?

Profile conversion rate measures the percentage of patients who visit your profile and go on to schedule an initial consultation with you.

How is profile conversion rate calculated?

Profile conversion rate is calculated using activity from up to your last 150 unique profile views using the following formula:

(# of new patients who booked an initial consultation ÷ # of unique users who viewed your profile) × 100 = profile conversion rate

The following metrics are included in the profile conversion rate calculation:

  • Profile views: up to your last 150 profile views on a rolling basis. Each profile visitor is counted once, even if they view your profile multiple times

  • New patient bookings: each new patient initial consultation booking is counted once, even if the patient reschedules or rebooks

  • Booking source: only bookings sourced by Fay are included. Provider-sourced patients are not counted

Why does profile conversion rate matter?

Your profile conversion rate shows how often profile views turn into booked appointments, helping you understand whether your profile gives potential patients the clarity and confidence to take the next step.
